Working for wayss
Our people matter. Without them, we would be unable to make a meaningful impact in the lives of people facing homelessness and family violence. This is our motivation in creating wayss as a great place to work.

wayss is the largest provider of family violence, homelessness, housing and services in the South East Melbourne area.  We exist so people can live a life free from family violence and have access to safe, sustainable, and affordable housing. Our vision is to be the major provider of social housing services and leading edge client support programs in the Southern Melbourne Metropolitan region.

We deliver funded services and programs across the Southern Melbourne Area including the local government areas of Greater Dandenong, Frankston, Casey and Cardinia.

As a social landlord of community housing, wayss provides a range of accommodation options for people who are at risk of homelessness or family violence.

wayss is committed to the principles of the Housing First model. We believe safe and permanent housing is the first priority for people experiencing homelessness and that tenants should be supported to sustain their housing and develop the skills of successful tenancy.

About the Role

  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and cleaning for allocated properties.
  • Respond to tenancy-related complaints and communicate rights and responsibilities to renters and neighbors.
  • Support renters to develop tenancy skills and sustain housing.
  • Proactively manage tenancies at risk and facilitate successful housing exits.
  • Reconcile rents and maintain accurate rental ledgers.
  • Represent wayss at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT).
  • Maintain accurate, confidential electronic records and data.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required.
